Amber R. Fuhriman

Attorney Amber Fuhriman is a native of Idaho. After graduating from Idaho State University with a degree in political science, she attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, where she graduated in the top 3% of her law school class, earning her juris doctor with Magna Cum Laude honors. While still a law student, Amber interned with the Washtenaw County Public Defenders Office in Ann Arbor Michigan. While a student, she won two certificate of merit awards for highest grades in professional responsibility and death penalty law and competed in Moot Court and Mock Trial competitions throughout her law school.

After Law School, Amber relocated to Las Vegas, where she interned with the Clark County Public Defender’s office before entering private practice as a criminal defense and immigration attorney. Amber is the rare lawyer who understands the complex interplay between immigration and criminal law, and she knows how to defend her non-citizen clients in a way that maximizes their chances of staying in the U.S. Amber is licensed to practice law in both state and federal court in Nevada as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Board of Immigration Appeals. She is a member of the American Immigrant Lawyers Association.
